Production & Logistics Coordinator

Company
Your new company is an innovative, industry leading steel manufacturer who has had exceptional growth and expansion over the last 2 years. With continued growth plans and increased customer demand they currently require an experienced Production & Logistics Coordinator.

Role
In your role as the Production & Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for coordination of the production area including procurement of raw materials and factory consumables for production, coordinating and obtaining quotes for national and international freight. You will also raise PO's and invoices, update the production schedule in the ERP system and provide performance reports on production and logistics as well as performing regular stock takes.

Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have:

• 3 + years of experience in a similar role
• Experience within a manufacturing environment ideally steel or heavy industries
• Exposure to national and international freight bookings
• Procurement and demand planning experience
• Whilst not required those with experience with Microsoft based ERP systems will be highly desirable
