Terrific full-time opportunity for an experienced Barista to join our stylish and Chic, European-inspired café.

About us ...

Mr Claude is a relaxed, laid back cafe focused on serving fresh, great quality coffee and food.

Offering both rejuvenation and a reprieve from bustling Creek Street, Mr Claude is a stylish and chic, European-inspired café under the iconic fig tree in Brisbane’s CBD.  

We are part of a growing group of restaurants and are on the hunt for the right people to help us create something great.

About the Role …

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Barista who has a bright, outgoing personality and exceptional customer service skills.

We require someone with a minimum of 2 years experience who is comfortable adjusting the coffee machine, grinder and all other related equipment. 

Barista experience is ESSENTIAL and you must be available from Monday to Friday early mornings. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering a high standard of service to customers
• Producing high quality coffee at all times
• Cash handling
• Food preparation
• Customer Service
• Clear and clean tables

About you …

We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating a place people love to be.  Someone who enjoys latte art and likes to put a smile on people's faces with amazing coffee and great customer service.

You should have good operational and business smarts and ability to make good decisions. Some management experiences would be a plus but not essential (rosters, ordering, hiring and training team members etc.).

• A keen eye for detail
• Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision
• Trustworthy and reliable

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years as a Barista in a high volume cafe
• Barista certificate
