HUNDREDS of south-west canines and even a few felines strutted their stuff along Warrnambool’s Promenade for the RSPCA’s annual Million Paws Walk yesterday.
Walkers and their furry, four-legged friends started at the carnival site near the Warrnambool Surf Club and strolled about five kilometres to raise money for animals in need.

The proceeds will go towards supporting RSPCA’s animal shelters, inspector services and educating communities on animal welfare issues.
Branches around Victoria care for more than 35,000 animals and investigate more than 14,000 animal cruelty complaints every year.
Donations can be made all year round. Visit rspca.org.au for further details.
