THIEVES broke into McLean's Guardian Pharmacy on Sackville Street, Port Fairy, early yesterday and stole medication.
Detective Senior Constable Richard Hughes, of the Warrnambool crime investigation unit, said a jemmy bar was used to open a door to the pharmacy about 1.30am .
He said a quantity of elderly people's medication in blister packs was stolen .
"At least two men were identified jemming open the door. A quantity of medication was removed," Detective Senior Constable Hughes said.
"One male was tallish in height and wearing white runners, grey pants and a grey hoodie.
"The other male was of medium height, wearing dark coloured pants and a hoodie."
Detective Senior Constable Hughes was yesterday reviewing security camera footage of the burglary.
