RACING carnival revellers kept Warrnambool police busy yesterday morning with 10 drunks locked up overnight.
Police said only one of the 10 arrested in the CBD for being drunk in public was known to be local.
Extra police units were brought in from Melbourne during the carnival, including mounted police on patrol horses.
Each drunk was sent home with a $489 fine after a maximum four hours spent locked up.
