WARRNAMBOOL City councillor Jennifer Lowe and her husband Robbie will face a committal hearing in April.
They appeared in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court this week supported by family and friends for another mention hearing.
Magistrate Jonathan Klestadt set a starting committal date of April 3. It is expected to last a couple of days.
After two years of police inquiries, Cr Lowe, 37, was charged with 49 offences in July last year involving about $25,000, which included six counts of obtaining financial advantage by deception and 43 counts of obtaining property by deception when she was employed by the Worn Gundidj Aboriginal Co-operative.
Mr Lowe faces two charges, involving goods valued at just over $17,000. At their first hearing in August last year, defence counsel Tony Robinson said both his clients had been accused of using a fuel card to gain petrol valued at $17,344.63 for private vehicles.
Mr Robinson said Cr Lowe also faced a charge involving an alleged overpayment of $3000 in income, while other alleged offences involved a range of mainly smaller household items.
