The annual Salvation Army Young People's service involved people from within the church as well as those involved in outreach programs. They led the Sunday morning service before participating in an afternoon of free activities.
Organiser Tanya Tampion said children from the church's playgroup, right through to teenagers were involved in the celebration.
"We do it each year as a celebration of the young people we have in the church and of the youth in the wider community," she said.
"It wasn't just for youth within the church. We run a lot of youth out reach programs as well, like a singing group.
"It was a really good morning, they did a wonderful job," she said.
After the service they enjoyed a barbecue lunch, a slushee machine and jumping castle, as well as showbags.
