Equestrian Australia has confirmed the jumping short list of riders and horses for the 2018 games, which will be held in the United States of America.
Kermond and his horse Yandoo Oaks Constellation were included alongside Edwina Tops-Alexander, Scott Keach, Billy Raymont and Rowan Willis on the list, which will be reduced to four for the games in September.
Kermond represented Australia at the 2006 WEG at 21 aboard mount Stylish King.
He has recently been a part of Channel Seven’s reality television program Jump Off, which showcases horse racing and show jumping, as well as celebrating the versatility of thoroughbred horses away from the racetrack.
The World Equestrian Games will be held at Mill Spring, North Carolina, on a 1600-acre site at the foothills of the Blue Mountains.
