Police attempted to intercept the forward drive utility van for a routine check on Coulstock Street just before midnight when it immediately crossed onto the wrong side of the road at an increased speed, resulting in police terminating the pursuit.
The vehicle evaded the divisional van again on Crawley Street at around 12:25am. Anyone with information is urged to contact Warrnambool police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
