Koroit & District Kindergarten president Sam O’Keefe said it was an iconic festival event and they had received great entries ahead of the April 27-29 festival.
The leprechaun can be any shape or size and showcased in a window, on the lawn or mail box. Mrs O’Keefe said people who did not live in the area could enter and display their leprechaun on the kindergarten’s lawn.
Children’s entertainers the Mik Maks will judge one category while the people’s choice will be decided by the number of votes on the trail’s Facebook page with great vouchers to be won.
Entries must be completed by April 23 and forms, available from The Great Leprechaun Trail Facebook page or the Koroit kindergarten, must be submitted with the $10 entry fee at the kindergarten.
Entries can be viewed at the trail’s Facebook page.
