A number of avenues have been set up for members of the community to donate goods, services and money to help those affected by the south-west fires. There are also mechanisms in place for support for those directly affected.

*CORANGAMITE Shire Council is setting up a central point for people wishing to donate money to those affected by the fires.
By the end of the day, council is hoping to have a Bendigo Bank account open with bank details so people can deposit their donations.
Anyone wishing to offer services can do so by contacting the council on 03 5593 7100 or shire@corangamite.vic.gov.au
Donations of goods are to be made at the Salvation Army headquarters on the corner of Lava and Henna streets in Warrnambool.
A community meeting will be held at the Cobden Civic Hall at 1pm on Wednesday.
*MOYNE Shire Council is also encouraging people to leave goods they wish to donate at the Warrnambool Salvation Army.
A spokesman for council said a fire recovery team had been set up.
The main purpose of this recovery team is to help those directly affected by the fires. The recovery team can be contacted at recovery@moyne.vic.gov.au
It is expected the recovery team will stay in place for a number of months.
*MEMBER for Western District James Purcell has put out a call for those who have land available for agistment to contact his office. Mr Purcell will register this and match it with someone affected by the fires who needs land for their stock. Call 03 5568 2929.
*MUSIC venue The Loft in Warrnambool will hold a fundraising concert on Saturday. The line-up will include Nancie Schipper, Likely Celts, Russ Goodear and others. All performers will be donating their time with the $10 cover charge at the door and a percentage of bar sales going to the Salvation Army to hand out to those affected by the fires and the CFA. The concert starts at 3pm
*ROTARY Club members in Warrnambool are manning a phone line which people wishing to donate their services to those affected by the fires can call. Member for South West Coast Roma Britnell and 3YB/Coast FM have helped set the line up. The number is 55643888 with the line open between 8am and 5pm.
*THE Victorian Farmers Federation has a Disaster Relief Fund where people can donate fodder, food and agistment. The United Dairyfarmers of Victoria is also coordinating fodder distribution.
