Club president and trial secretary Donna James said hundreds of dogs were entered in the competition, with owners coming from all over Australia.
“This year we approached the Tooram Scout Group to ask if they would like to help out and they jumped at the chance,” Ms James said.
“They've really enjoyed it.”
Members of Warrnambool’s Rotary Daybreak club were also on hand to act as stewards, while Warrnambool CWA members helped out in the kitchen.
“It’s been an excellent weekend,” she said.
Ms James said the event was the state’s largest trial of its kind outside of Melbourne.
Mira Tomasello and Magpie, from Bacchus Marsh, said it was a great weekend.
Magpie loves competing, Ms Tomasello said.
