McFadden scored quicktime in qualifying for the series’ grand final at Perth Motorplex on Sunday, edging Australian sprintcar champion Kerry Madsen to claim maximum points.
“During my first lap I almost spun out but in the second lap we got it all worked out thankfully,” McFadden told Sprintcar World’s official website.
“It’s great to win this series again. I have just got to thank the Monte Motorsport guys. It’s a long season doing this. We’ve had our ups and downs.”
