More than 100 people turned out to engage in the expo – which included seminars on club sustainability, football operations and volunteers on Sunday.
AFL Western District senior operations manager Brad Pole said the body wanted to provide information to clubs en masse.
“The intention was to provide information for club volunteers on day-to-day operations,” he said.
“That’s whether you are a committee man, working in footy or netball operations, or you’re a coach, there was something here.
“We wanted to provide the info in one space so people involved across the district could get a car-load together and come down and get what they need in the one space.”
Pole said the commission was interested in running the event annually. “I think it’s worthwhile,” he said.
