Ashley Murphy, 23, of Sundale Road, unsuccessfully applied for bail in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Wednesday and was remanded in custody until March 5.
Magistrate Cynthia Toose said Ms Murphy was charged with dishonesty and weapons offences on January 18, more dishonesty offences four days later and then on February 2 was in court for drug matters, breaching bail and possessing controlled weapons.
Ms Murphy was released on bail then with an overnight curfew after he mother said she would contact police if her daughter did not comply with her bail.
Ms Toose said that had not happened despite Ms Murphy “absolutely flouting” her overnight curfew.
She said the accused woman had to adjust her thinking and she was an unacceptable risk of continuing to breach her bail.
Police Senior Constable Andrew Kirkpatrick told court police officers had regularly been checking Ms Murphy was complying with her bail.
Officers found she was not at home overnight on both Monday and Tuesday this week.
Ms Murphy was arrested at a Wooles Avenue address after the resident said she had been there but left half an houir before the police check at 10.20pm.
Ms Murphy was found hiding behind the bathroom door and admitted she had used cannabis earlier that day.
She claimed she had reduced her drug use in the past few weeks and had appointments to review her medication.
When a tearful Ms Murphy was led from court by custody officers, she said to her mother: “Sorry Mum”.
Her mother said: “You should be”.
Earlier: A 23-YEAR-OLD Warrnambool woman on drugs and weapons charges is now back in the Warrnambool police station cells.
Warrnambool police Sergeant Chris Moloney said the woman was remanded in custody by a bail justice overnight charged with 12 counts of breaching bail.
She was arrested at 10.10pm on Tuesday and is expected to appear in the Hamilton Magistrates Court via a video link, where police are expected to apply to revoke her bail.
The woman appeared in Warrnambool court earlier this month after being arrested and held in custody.
Custody management issues at that time included mental health issues, withdrawing from ice use, it was her first time in custody and she was believed to be more vulnerable because of her age and appearance.
She was to be assessed for the Court Integrated Services Program which supports people on bail.
At that time she had been charged with possessing and using ice, two weapons offences and four counts of breaching bail.
