Moyne, who was the shining light, scored 104 in his side’s 231. But it wasn’t enough as the Meerkats suffered a 56-run loss to Woolsthorpe.
The Meerkats’ bowler said Chris Lenehan, who scored a handy 68, helped him reach the milestone.
“He was able to give me some advice and help me keep my concentration,” he said.
“We have batted together many times together over the years. We know how each other play and he is an experienced cricketer who is good at rotating the strike.”
Moyne said concentration was also a factor in him recording his first century at the club.
“We were in a pretty difficult situation coming into the weekend, so Chris and I had to knuckle down for a while and after hanging around for awhile the runs started to come,” he said.
“It was just about keeping the head down and concentrating.”
