Injured captain Geoff Williams hopes paceman Harry Price can do both in his return to Nestles’ bowling attack on Saturday.
Price opened the year in division one but was dropped to Factory’s seconds to find form in November.
Selection in the Western Waves’ under 18 state championship squad was also fruitful.
Price clinched eight scalps from four matches to convince Williams he deserved another bite at division one cricket.
He’s a handful in the nets – especially when he gets it swinging and jagging around. And on a turf pitch, it’s a new ball game again.

“We hope he can do well with the new ball, or whenever (stand-in captain Brett Eldridge) hands him the ball,” Williams said.
“He’s a handful in the nets – especially when he gets it swinging and jagging around. And on a turf pitch, it’s a new ball game again.
“He’s worked his way up and has really forced his way back into our division one side.”
Nestles batted its 80-over allocation to post 9-173 last week, with Merrivale set to begin its chase on Saturday.
Williams identified the scalps of co-captains Josh Stapleton and Jeremy Burgess as vital early in the piece.
“We were probably aiming for 200, but the Reid Oval is big, and slow to score on,” the first-year mentor said.
“We’ll have to look to contain them. They’ve got good top-order bats in Stapleton, Burgess, Ben Compton and Wil Fleming.
“We’ll definitely look to get them out cheaply and take the six points, as we’re always aiming to do.”
