Travis Harradine, 34, appeared in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Monday morning, did not apply for bail and was remanded in custody until March 23.
Magistrate Michael Coghlan noted that custody management issues included that Mr Harradine was withdrawing from drug use and he was taking medication.
It’s expected that Mr Harradine will be represented by the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service in a video link On March 23.
Earlier: A WANTED Warrnambool man has been located in a police raid and arrested.
About six police officers were involved in the operation which led to the arrest of 34-year-old Travis Harradine.
He was remanded by a bail justice over the weekend and will appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Monday where police are expected to apply for his bail to be revoked.
Police declared he was wanted three weeks ago on about 70 charges, much relating to violence.
On February 5 police appealed for public assistance to help locate Mr Harradine over a number of assaults.
A warrant had been issued for his arrest.
He lives in the Warrnambool area although it was thought he may have fled to Geelong.
