Wade, 45, crossed the finish line in a time of 18 minutes and 10 seconds, while Boyd, 39, completed the five-kilometre course in 21 minutes and 35 seconds.
Wade was pleased with the effort he put in over the course.
“It was the quickest time that I have ran over the three weeks of the series,” he said.
“I had Brendan Moore behind me and he pushed me all the way to the line.
“It was good to battle with him and he is probably the reason for my quickest time.”
Boyd commented on the alteration of the course from last year after completing her first run in this year’s series.
“I thought it was a good run,” she said.
“They had changed the course and that resulted in an extra hill being added, which made this year’s course as a whole slightly more difficult.”
The results for which club was the most represented at the summer series and to take home the $750 prize will be announced later in the week when the Warrnambool Athletics Club is able to confirm the total representatives from each club.
