To be held at Warrnambool’s Deakin University, the congress will take place on February 23.
Guest speakers will be Sarah Wall and Matthew Stewart.
The congress’ organising team leader Simon Perry said the day gives students the opportunity to hear from community leaders.
“The day of leadership inspiration challenges student leaders and teachers to think differently about what it means to be a community leader,” Mr Perry said.
“It asks them to think about issues and problems in their own community, and how we can go about solving them.”
He said all 28 schools in the Warrnambool City and Moyne shires send a team to the congress. Students create a project to work on which they do a presentation on later in the year at a gathering at the Lighthouse Theatre.
