FOUR local music aficionados will gather at the Hotel Warrnambool on Friday for what is becoming an Australia Day tradition.

Michael Fitzgerald, Stephen Philpot, Robert Quantrelle and Peter Dickinson will spin vinyls in a countdown of songs from their 30 favourite Australian artists.
The top 30 has been chosen by Mr Fitzgerald, well known as the owner of Capricorn Records.
“I enjoyed digging through the crates of fantastic black plastic compiling it, they’re my personal choices, so not everyone will agree, but that’s all part of the fun," Mr Fitzgerald said.
The countdown will begin at 2pm and the event will be a fundraiser for the Warrnambool Surf Life Saving Club, with a barbecue sizzling during the day.
