The club has about 40 or 50 people who help with the large clean ups from speedway meets.
Club president Shane Murphy said the work involved cleaning up all the rubbish, cleaning off the clay which sprayed into the crowd and moving the bins.
“It is getting harder and harder for footy clubs to make money,” he said.
Mr Murphy said the club usually had people working at the speedway from 7am till 11am.
“People help as much as they can,” he said.
He said the funds would help go towards the club securing a new scoreboard.
