Woolsthorpe wicket keeper Stephen Blacker believes the win over Grassmere Cricket Association division one two-dayer leaders Panmure on Saturday was thanks to a faultless game by the Warriors.

“It was close to the perfect game for us,” Blacker said.
“Win the toss, play comfortably and build a good total with the bat and then come out and bowl disciplined lines.
“We had a good total on the board, bowled consistent lines outside off stump and we didn't need to be too fancy and all our bowlers bowled those lines and were rewarded.”
Blacker believed Warriors captain Andrew Bridge was man of the match after he took 4-20 and made 45 with the bat.
“It was a pretty fair all-round performance from him against the top side,” Blacker said.
Wangoom, Killarney and Hawkesdale all secured wins over Grassmere, Mailors Flat and Yambuk respectively on Saturday.
Panmure fell to second on the ladder, with Killarney taking top spot after a commanding win over Mailors Flat.
