Sycopoulis, 16, and Quarrell, 17, decided they would play for 24 hours and support two Warrnambool youth programs, Standing Tall and Clontarf. “We wanted to spread the word about the two programs as we have both been personally affected by it,” Quarrell said.
Both boys thought the best way they could raise awareness about the programs was to do something they loved, play table tennis for 24 hours. They raised $925.65.
“It allowed us to have some fun with our table tennis while supporting a good cause,” Sycopulis said.
