Glorious Sinndar, Ancient King, Divine Sanction and Zanteco are Weir’s runners in the feature race on the eight event card, when the Camperdown Turf Club celebrates 150 years of racing.
Weir’s Warrnambool satellite foreman Jarrod McLean said Divine Sanction is the only horse trained at the seaside saddle.
“We’ve only got Divine Sancation trained in Warrnambool,” McLean said. “The four of them are being aimed at some of the big jumps races over the winter months.
“They are all resuming in the cup and I reckon they’ll all need this run to get them fitter for later in the season.”
Warrnambool trainer Matthew Williams saddles up Artie’s Shore in the cup. He won the Woodford Cup two runs ago before running third in the Koroit Cup at his last outing.
Last start Koroit Cup winner Siga La Vaca will try and add another cup to his record for Aaron Purcell when he runs in the main race.
The Camperdown Cup is scheduled to start at 4.56pm, with the last race set down for a 5.36pm start.
