Come and Try Fishing at Fishcare’s Summer Series along the Merri River (near South Warrnambool Kindergarten) on Friday from 4.30pm. To book go to fishcare.org.au.
Try snorkelling with Daktari Surf at Warrnambool’s Stingray Bay at 9am Friday or have fun at a novelty games day at Jetty Flat, Price Street from 10am on Friday. Snorkelling bookings are required – 5562 4006.

International names will take on local heroes at the 46th Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic at Premier Speedway from Friday to Sunday. Go to premierspeedway.clicktix.com.au for tickets.
Riders will compete in the Shipwreck Coast Motocross Open from 7am Saturday, and 8am Sunday at Lake Gillear, Allansford.
Visit Shaw River Buffalo Cheese; Australia’s first buffalo milk dairy where you can sample cheese and learn about the cheese making process on Friday. For tickets contact Port Fairy Visitor Information Centre.
Warrnambool’s Summer Night Markets continue on Friday and feature makers, bakers, creators, artists, live music, food, boutique beer and wine and more at Lake Pertobe from 4.30pm.
Motor enthusiasts will head to Saturday’s Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic Fan Appreciation Day at Warrnambool’s Flying Horse Bar and Brewery from 10am.
Relax with yoga at the Warrnambool Surf Lifesaving Club on Saturday at 9am. Cost is $15. It’s followed by beach volleyball on Warrnambool’s main beach from 11am to 3pm.
The Camperdown Cup will celebrate its 150th event on Saturday with racing from 11am. There are free shuttle buses, kids activities and live music, Racecourse Road, Camperdown.
The third and final Shipwreck Coast Swim Series event will be held at Port Campbell with The Twelve Apostles Plunge on Saturday at 11am.
Vintage engines, tractors, cars and trucks will be showcased on Saturday and Sunday at the Orford Vintage Rally, at the Orford Sports Ground from 9am both days.
Buy locally-grown produce at The Fresh Market at Warrnambool’s Lake Pertobe on Sunday from 9am.
Budding comics will entertain at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s RAW Comedy heat at The Loft on Sunday at 5pm. Entrants compete for the chance to go on to the Melbourne festival.
