Paddy Mahony blasted an unbeaten 102 against Red Cliffs, while Brendan Chatfield (85), Phil Edwards (68) and Braden Hotker (52 not out) all supported in the triumph.
Grassmere division two coach Ken Jones showered praise on his batsmen.
“The whole display was fantastic. Phil Edwards set it up, with nine fours and a six for his 70-odd,” Jones said.
“And then Paddy came in and batted brilliantly. He played straight, proper cricket shots for the short boundaries straight. We made that an emphasis.
“I was also rapt for Brendan, getting that score in his first innings up here.”
Jones said the victory was vital to “justify” why the association attended the event.
Meanwhile, the Western Waves’ under 16s crashed out of the state championships, falling just short of Metropolitan Outer South.
Western Waves’ under 14s will play a qualifying final on Thursday after winning on Wednesday.
