Koroit police Sergeant Pat Day said the Toolong man, 22, had his licence suspended, his vehicle seized and will appear in court on drink driving charges.
He was intercepted at Kirkstall and recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.145. It comes a week after the conclusion of Operation Roadwise, which targeted dangerous driving.
Warrnambool police Acting Inspector Steve Thompson said during the campaign there were “several high range readings” over .15 and over .2 “We don’t condone any level. The message there is if you plan to drink, plan ahead and don’t drive. Organise an alternative means of transport,” he said.
