Kids: Flagstaff Hill’s Summer Holiday Program to feature Cooking up a Storm at 11am and Bead Bugs at 2pm.
BMX: Warrnambool BMX Club are hosting a Come and Try day on Friday. Registration begins at 4pm for a 4.30pm start.
Blues & Roots: St Brigid’s Hall in Crossley will be home to a Blues and Roots Festival 2018 on January 12 and 13. The family-friendly event will include a jumping castle and rides for the kids, food, drinks and live music. Tonight’s event starts at 6pm
Outdoor Movie: Beachfest will present its third and final film as part of the ‘Twilight movies in the Park’ series. This week’s film is the PG-rated drama ‘Hampstead’ from 8.30pm.
Stage: Warrnambool’s Lighthouse Theatre is hosting the Holiday Actor’s production ‘Wicked’ - The untold story of the witches of Oz. Shows start at 7.30pm.
Nature: Defy Fitness are hosting a scavenger hunt through the Warrnambool Botanic Gardens for children aged 5 to 12. ‘Treasures of Nature’ will run from 10am to 12.30pm and include morning tea.
Fishing: Warrnambool Offshore and light game fishing is hosting its annual fishing competition at the Breakwater precinct.
Markets: The Summer Night Markets is on at Lake Pertobe from 4.30pm to 8.30pm. Boutique beers, food stalls, gifts, clothing and toys will fill the grassed area for four hours. Live music from Tom Richardson and a variety of local artists on the youth stage.
Craft: Kids can learn about beach-nesting birds and paint their own bag at Lake Pertobe as part of the Summer by the Sea series. Activities from 4.30pm to 8.30pm.

Outdoor: Warrnambool’s I-Can Network are hosting Obstacool at Lake Pertobe from 10am to 4pm.
Fishing: Warrnambool Offshore and light game fishing is hosting its annual fishing competition at the Breakwater precinct from January 5 to 13.
Kids: Flagstaff Hill’s Summer Holiday Program will feature Groovy Washer Necklaces at 11am and Suffolk Puffs at 2pm.
History: Warrnambool Family History Group are hosting 1.5 hour tours of the cemetery from 2pm.

DERM: Diesel Electric Rail Motor shuttle rides will run from the Warrnambool Train Station to the WestVic siding at 2pm, 2.30pm, 3 and possibly 3.30pm.

Kids: Flagstaff Hill’s Summer Holiday Program will feature Magnificent Mosaics at 11am and Painted Paper Ornaments at 2pm.
History: Warrnambool Family History Group are hosting 1.5 hour tours of the cemetery from 6pm.
Markets: The Fresh Market is back at Warrnambool’s Lake Pertobe on Sunday. Fresh produce, coffee, gifts, cakes and hand-made goods will be on offer from 9am to 1pm.

Cars: Warrnambool & District Historical Vehicle Club are hosting their annual display of historical vehicles from 10am to 4pm. This year's theme is "All things Holden" with over 100 vehicles spanning almost 100 years. All proceeds to The Lookout project.
Gardens: Timboon Railtrailers and Lions Relay for Life are hosting an Open Gardens Event at the Timboon/Nullawarre Road in Brucknell and Taylor’s Road in Brucknell from 11am to 4pm.
Film: Port Fairy Film Society are presenting their collection of summer movies at the Reardon Theatre. Today’s film is the adult adventure film ‘Thor Ragnarok’ at 7.30pm.
