WELL DONE: The barflies are all talking about the bucks turn of a Port Fairy identity in Melbourne last weekend. Story goes a group of 20 mates ventured to the gardens in Williamstown to start the proceedings. The tempo was just starting to increase when they noticed another group was setting up just 400 metres from them. The other group was a wedding party with 150 guests. The flies said the group of men, which included various Port Fairy people, was well behaved while the group was in the gardens for a few hours before venturing off to another venue to continue the celebrations.

REMEMBER: It appears plenty of people have forgotten their responsibilities in owning a dog. Dogs have just been allowed to roam around in Port Fairy on the beach and in the streets, with their owners wandering behind them. The other side of the dog debate is some of the canines leave their calling card and the owners don’t bother to clean up the mess, which is really disappointing.
ENJOY: The Port Fairy Moyneyana Festival continues to roll on, with plenty more free entertainment for people of all ages. Big crowds are taking advantage of the hard work the Moyneyana Festival committee has put in place to ensure this is another successful festival.
