The 21-year-old is preparing to tackle World Series Sprintcars prior to launching his third assault on the South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic.
It follows a jam-packed summer season in the United States, in which Macedo tackled races in the mid-west before running in his native California.
His first Australian date of the summer – at Warrnambool’s Premier Speedway – netted a sixth place finish in Max’s Race last Saturday night.
Macedo revealed he felt dangerous after more racing at Premier Speedway.
“We’ve definitely learnt a little bit more after even just racing there last weekend,” he said.
“As a driver, every time you go to a different track you put a little bit more in your notebook.
“We’ll go back, race the same format and hope we can get even better.”
The Dyson Motorsport driver said his confidence was at an all-time high after a solid summer in the United States.
“We had a good season, particularly through the mid-west,” Macedo said.
“We had a lot of fun and were lucky enough to pick up some wins. We had a pretty successful season.
“I think it lifted my confidence. Anytime you manage to get a win or be competitive, it lifts you up that little bit more.”
