The Heytesbury Rebels opener scored his second century in three matches on Saturday.
Harkness’ 104 guided the Jeff Rosolin-led outfit to an eight-wicket win against Cobden.
The ton followed his 103 against Camperdown three weeks ago.
Harkness said team success with the South West Cricket premiership contender was his priority.
“We’ve just got to keep winning. I am not too worried about myself," he said.
“I am working hard and being a bit more relaxed. I haven’t been too fussed about it.”
Harkness praised Tommy Hunt for his 50 batting at number four.
“Little Tommy did a good job,” he said.
“He’s working hard so it’s good to see him get a few runs.”
A 65 from Michael Pegg helped Cobden post 177.
But Harkness’ efforts proved match-winning in Heytesbury’s run chase.
Rosolin said his opener was “hitting them well”.
“He played like he normally does – hitting the ball into zones,” he said.
“Tommy Hunt got a 50 and was similar to Simon, he waited for the bad balls.”
