AN assault at a Warrnambool pub has left a victim gushing blood from a suspected broken nose.

Victim of pub assault left gushing blood from broken nose
Warrnambool police Senior Constable Emily Durham said two young men aged in their early 20s were inside the Seanchai Irish Pub at about 1am Sunday when an altercation occurred.
"A man punched the victim to the face and then fled the scene before police arrived," she said.
"The victim was taken to the Warrnambool Base Hospital with a suspected broken nose. There was blood gushing everywhere."
Senior Constable Durham said officers were in the process of obtaining security camera footage from the pub.
She requested that any witnesses contact the Warrnambool police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
