Among the street performers spreading the good cheer were Year 3 and 4 pupils from Warrnambool Primary School who showed off their instrumental music skills, playing a number of Christmas carols.
Teacher John Pattison said Warrnambool City Council’s call out for street performers to use Liebig Street’s enhanced public areas in the lead up to Christmas was a great initiative and he hoped it would develop further.
Also performing was the Sing Australia Warrnambool choir, Mr and Mrs Claus and a walking Christmas tree and Christmas bauble.
