Justin Alan Hull, 21, of Spring Dam Road, pleaded guilty in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court to a range of charges.
Police said that on October 21 last year a victim parked her car near a Warrnambool tyres outlet.
When she returned the car was missing and she reported it stolen.
The vehicle was seen in Colac’s Murray Street two days later and Hull was driving it.
He said he had bought it in Warrnambool and did not know it had been stolen.
Hull was found with 10 ecstasy tablets and an ice pipe.
Less than two weeks later Hull was intercepted driving along Warrnambool’s Raglan Parade.
A search of the vehicle located two knives, 50 deal bags, there were digital scales and three bags of cannabis under the steering wheel, a small black credit card knife was found in his wallet and Hull produced four ice pipes from his underwear.
Total weight of the cannabis was 39 grams.
Defence counsel Ian Pugh said that the offences were committed before Hull was jailed this year.
He said his client was now back with his partner and they were expecting a baby in March.
“I’ve observed him near my office and he seems to now be doing really well,” Mr Pugh said.
