The in-form skipper is confident he can replicate his red-hot preliminary rounds form in the Roosters’ semi-final showdown against Hawkesdale on Sunday.
Serle, who blasted 135 and 59 in the preliminary rounds, believes Andrew Malone, Heath Anderson and newcomer Sam Ditrich will complement him at the crease.
“Twenty20 suits us because we are a pretty aggressive side,” he said.
“(Malone and Anderson) both got 50s in our preliminary matches. They back themselves to hit boundaries and so far it’s paid off.
“Sam we’ve picked up from New South Wales. He’s come down here for work.
“In the nets he’s looked like a really good batsman at the top of the order.”
Wangoom and Hawkesdale will kickstart the finals day at Killarney, hitting the pitch at 9.45am.
Panmure and Grassmere will face off in the other semi-final with the grand final to follow.
Serle said the Roosters, who have worked their way back from B grade in recent seasons, were hungry.
“It would be a good stepping stone to where we want to go in two-day cricket,” she said.
