Detective Senior Constable Wayne Ryan, of the Warrnambool police crime investigation unit, said the fire was lit at Twinny’s Tyres and Batteries about midnight on June 22 last year.
“The business at 19 Station Street, Cobden, was completely destroyed, including a large amount of stock,” he said.
“Two vehicles were also destroyed in the fire. Police are again calling on any person who has information surrounding the circumstances of this crime to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or the Warrnambool CIU on 5560 1116.”
Detective Senior Constable Ryan said the reward of up to $25,000 was on offer to anyone with information that led to a conviction.
The reward offer comes after police in October called for public assistance in the search for culprits, who caused more than $1 million damage. They believe they are closing in on those responsible.
