Gold defeated Timboon at home by 31 shots, winning 88-57.
“I’m really excited about the win,” Maddern said.
“We are cruising along very nicely at the moment and I feel we are very united as a team, which is showing in our bowling.”
Maddern believed the game against Timboon was won in two key areas.
“Colleen’s rink were outstanding today, they were a huge part of our win,” she said.
“Val’s rink was also outstanding, being the stronger rink, they only lost by four which helped keep us in it.
Maddern and her team will admit to cruising along, but they aren’t about to get ahead of themselves because of it.
“We are taking it one game at a time,” she said
“We just have to continue to knuckle down and keep winning.
“We have Lawn Tennis next week before we go to the Christmas break and another win would be lovely.”
In other Tuesday division one games, Lawn Tennis upset second-placed Koriot 65-63, Port Fairy Gold had a comfortable 91-46 win at home over City Green and Dennington Red defeated Mortlake Blue 76-50.
