The Warrnambool-based driver will jump behind the wheel of his Monte Motorsports car for Max’s Race at Premier Speedway on Saturday night full of confidence.
He believes wins in Perth, Mount Gambier, Murray Bridge and Avalon will help him navigate a star-studded SRA Series field.
Australian number one Kerry Madsen and American duo Carson Marcedo and Corey Eliason are among the 51 entrants.
McFadden said the calibre of opposition would give drivers a chance “to measure yourself up".
“The tracks are going to be different over the season and there will be a lot more cars, so it’s going to be tougher but it’s been a really good way to start,” he said.
“It is our first run with the Monte car at Warrnambool (this season) so it will be good to get back and hopefully get a win.”
McFadden, who scored his first World of Outlaws victory during a four-month stint in the US during the Australian off-season, has committed to the 2018 Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic.
“I feel I have less pressure on myself now because we’ve won one,” he said.
“Anytime you can win that race or run well in it is pretty cool. That’s the plan, to go back-to-back, and I am looking forward to that time of year. It’s my favourite time of year and the classic is my favourite race of the year, so I am pumped.”
