Meanwhile, another driver has lost his licence for over a year after drinking four Jack Daniels stubbies pushed him over the legal alcohol limit.
Matthew Hickman, 35,of Great Ocean Road, Nirranda South, was picked up at Camperdown for drink driving just after midnight on August 20 this year.
He recorded a blood alcohol concentration of .076 per cent at Camperdown police station.
Warrnambool magistrate Cynthia Toose said Hickman had an "appalling driving record", but she took into account his efforts to change his life.
Hickman, charged with drink driving, told police he didn't think he was over the limit.
He was involved in an accident on October 1 and was hospitalised until November 23.
Hickman suffered an acquired brain injury and a back injury.
Ms Toose cancelled Hickman's driver's licence and disqualified him from driving for 14 months, as well as fining him $1200.
