Essendon will be based in Port Campbell with visits planned in Camperdown, Cobden and Timboon, while the Bulldogs will be based in Hamilton.
“The AFL Community Camps allow us to give back to the community for their love and support of our game,” AFL general manager Andrew Dillon said.
“They are a great opportunity for fans to have access to their favourite players, regardless of how far they live.”
Essendon will bring its full list of players after its JLT game in Colac, while the Bulldogs have not confirmed who they will bring.
“Anytime we can have AFL players in the region is a bonus for all players and clubs,” AFL Western District development manager Alan Thompson said.
”If players like Zach Merrett are coming to regional Victoria for camps it’s going to result in an increases in participation, which is good for footy in our region.”
