Carols: Dennington will host its annual Carols on the Merri on Friday. Local talent will join Santa, a photo booth, raffles and prizes to fundraise for the Leila Rose Foundation from 6pm. A food court begins at 5.30pm. If rain too heavy the event will be moved to Brauer College’s stadium on Caramut Road.

Festive: South West Healthcare is hosting its annual Auxiliary Christmas Stall in the hospital foyer. The fundraiser begins at 9.30am and will sell mince pies, marmalade and shortbread for the season as a fundraiser for more medical equipment.
Music: Crossley’s St Brigids Hall is hosting 15 Minutes of Fame from 6 to 11pm.
SATURDAY
Christmas: Fletcher Jones will be home to the annual FJ’s Christmas Market from 11am. As 2017 marks the 50th anniversary of the erection of te silver ball, market goers are invited to dress in 60’s gear and enjoy art, music, food and entertainment until 4pm.
Laneways: Little Liebig Street will showcase its latest street art with a Shared Futures Laneway Party from 5pm to 7pm.
Dunkeld: Off the Rails Dunkeld is hosting its inaugural Christmas Bizarre Bazaar from 5-8pm.
SUNDAY
Markets: Warrnambool’s Civic Green will host the first of the summer market series from 9am to 1pm. The Fresh Market will host its regular market at the carnival site on Pertobe Road from 9am to 1pm and Allansford is hosting a market to raise funds for prostate cancer from 10am to 2pm at the Recreation Reserve.
Koroit: The Koroit CWA are performing Christmas carols at the town’s railway station from 3pm to 5pm on Sunday.
Anniversary: Warrnambool’s Salvation Army is celebrating its 130th anniversary with a concert, shared lunch and release of the groups’ 1997 time capsule. The day’s festivities will begin with a service at 10am.
Song: Warrnambool’s Uniting Church is hosting a Christmas Concert with the Merri Singers from 2pm on Sunday.
Undercover: Warrnambool’s showgrounds will hold its weekly undercover market from 8am to 1pm.
