UPDATE 5:30pm: A smouldering railway sleeper at Noorat has been declared safe. Noorat, Terang and Dixie CFA units responded to the incident after a call from a concerned resident.

EARLIER: The CFA are responding to a non-structural fire following a call from concerned residents in Noorat just after 4.30pm.
A spokesperson from the CFA said railway sleepers were smouldering with the cause as yet unknown.
Four emergency vehicles are on scene from Noorat, Terang and Dixie CFA brigades.
