New to this year’s fair is an initiative to give young entrepreneurs a chance to start their own little business.
“The kids have been making their own stuff and will be selling it at the fair,” fair committee spokesperson Jade Drake said.
For the kids there will be bouncy boxing, mini hot rods, walk on water balls, jumping castle, giant slide, pony rides, facepainting, showbags, plaster funhouse and a hands-on reptile and wildlife area.
The Country Fire Authority will have a truck at the school and there will also be a treasure hunt.
Gourmet cakes, craft and garden stalls and secondhand books will be on offer, as well as a new Scholastic book fair.
A silent auction features a signed Geelong Football Club guernsey as well as other donated items such as musical instruments, zoo passes and plenty of vouchers.
Entertainment on the day will be provided by the King’s College pipes and drums band, concert and jazz bands and the school’s dance academy performers.
Mrs Drake said there would also be free children’s activities. The fair runs between 10am and 2pm.
