Cobden, Terang, Timboon, Lismore and Skipton pools will open for the summer season on Saturday, with Camperdown following a week later on December 2.
Family-friendly activities and free entry
Recreation development officer Lucy Vesey said pools would be busy over summer with a number of activities planned.
“We have a heap of programs available—from learn to swim to water aerobics and lap swimming—so there’s something to appeal to everybody,” she said.
“Playing around in the pool is great fun for kids and has relaxation and mental health benefits for people of all ages.”
Ms Vesey said pre-season sales of family tickets were also available.
“They’re great value for money so get in early and make the most of it,” she said.
“Follow our Corangamite Shire Swimming Pools page on Facebook to keep up with all the activities throughout the warmer months.”
