Bombers president Chris Walsh said the members would have two options to pick from – their current-day black strip with red sash or the red with black hoop the club wore prior to adopting the Essendon jumper in the 1970s.
Cobden has worn the red and black hoop as a clash strip in recent seasons.
“It was moved at last year’s AGM if we wanted to go back to the original strip,” Walsh said.
“There’s been a bit of interest in it for three or four years and it was brought up by one member for the club to put it to a vote.”
Walsh said the Hampden league club had no plans to reconsider its nickname of the Bombers.
Members are encouraged to attend the AGM between 7.30pm and 9pm on Friday to have their say on the guernsey.
Walsh said a new strip – if it passed the vote – might not be implemented until 2019.
