Warrnambool police Senior Constable Sally Frazer said the most recent fire was lit overnight last Friday.
The blaze in the public toilets at the corner of Gilles and Timor streets appeared to have been lit with matches and ignited paper in a bin.
"This occurred between 5pm Friday and Saturday morning when the damage was discovered by cleaners just before 9am," she said.
"There have been at least five similar fires in Warrnambool public toilets during the past six months.
"All have involved fires being lit with matches and lighting toilet paper."
Senior Constable Frazer requested that anyone with information contact the Warrnambool police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
