The Port Fairy Heritage Boats group will host a film fundraiser on Friday, screening Victoria & Abdul. The movie, starring Judi Dench and Ali Fazal, tells the story of Abdul Karim who arrives from India to participate in Queen Victoria's golden jubilee and how the pair strike up an unlikely friendship. It’s on at 1.30pm and 7.30pm at Port Fairy’s Reardon Theatre and money raised will go towards the project to build a replica 1830's whaleboat which is almost completed.
