Ms Muskee has organised a motorbike rally to Macarthur Recreation Reserve this weekend to raise money for national youth mental health foundation headspace.
It is a cause that’s close to her heart with younger family members who have anxiety and depression.
She said it was important that young people with mental health issues had somewhere to go for help during the “tumultuous” teenage years.
It’s not the first time Ms Muskee and partner Tige Leyonhjelm have thrown their support behind the cause. They organised a Black Dog Ride from Penshurst to Caramut in March which attracted more than 100 riders and raised $800.
They donated another $1150 to headspace Warrnambool clinical lead Phil Wilson on Thursday from the event.
Mr Wilson said he was humbled by the donation and it was beautiful that the motorcycle community wanted to help young people.
He said the money would be used to purchase iPads which clinical staff would take out to schools from next year to demonstrate the online applications, websites and strategies available.
“Our workers will be able to make great use of these therapeutic resources, particularly in our efforts to provide regional outreach services to young people living some distance from town,” he said.
