Members from District 41 have travelled from as far away as the South Australian border to Williamstown to attend the three-day event.
Lions attended a pre-convention gathering on Friday at the Warrnambool Art Gallery and a gala dinner will be held on Saturday night at the Brauer College hall.
Warrnambool Lions Club president Julianne Clift said this year’s theme was ‘looking forward looking back’ which was appropriate for the organisation’s centenary year. “We’re looking at where we’re going in the future and how to serve to our communities,” she said.
